She had come to Pune along with her mother and two friends a couple of days ago. The police said the cheergirl hails from Nagpur, but was currently living in Mumbai. Both were booked under different sections of the Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act. After the decoy customer confirmed sex trade, the police raided the spot and nabbed the cheergirl along with Jagtap.
Jagtap allegedly assured the decoy customer that she would provide him the model-cum-cheergirl at the hotel for Rs 1.5 lakh. Acting on a tip-off, a team of Social Security Cell led by senior inspector Bhanupratap Barge contacted Jagtap through a decoy customer. The police have also arrested an agent identified as Seema Bhagwan Jagtap (34). The Social Security Cell of the Pune police crime branch on Wednesday arrested a 22-year old - who worked as a cheergirl of Shah Rukh Khan's IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders team - from a hotel in Koregaon Park area for her alleged involvement in a prostitution racket. The Delhi HC has handed over the direction to issue the warrant to the district court of Thiruvananthapuram. Apart from Prithviraj, the warrant has also been issued against director of the movie Santhosh Sivan and the producer Shaji Natesan.
McKennitt had claimed that music director Deepak Dev's composition - 'Aaro Nee Aaro' featuring Prithviraj and Genelia D'Souza was directly lifted from two of her own compositions, 'Caravanserai' and 'The Mummers Dance'.
The warrant is on a copyright infringement claim, filed by Canadian singer Loreena McKennitt, over a song, 'Aaro nee aaro,' in the Malayalam movie “Urumi” starring Prithviraj, Prabhu Deva, Arya, Genelia D'Souza, Nithya Menon, Jagathy Sreekumar and Vidya Balan. › Serial Actress Veni Arrested For Immoral Traffic ▄ ▄ ▄ĭelhi High Court has issued a civil warrant against actor Prithviraj.
